wild blueberries, they're in season now, i was lucky enough to find them in the woods and pick them myselves. these truly fresh-picked berries are really great to eat right away but they also make delicious jam. image: dietlind wolf
weigh the berries and bring them to a boil, let them simmer for 10 minutes. add the same amount of sugar and let it simmer until the jam thickens, test with a drop on a plate.
