chinese food, i'm obsessed…. after finding 'every grain of rice', a cookbook by fuchsia dunlop under the christmas tree i've already cooked several dishes from this absolutely fantastic book, filled with authentic chinese food that you can make at home. i urge you to try this recipe for gong boa chicken with peanuts, it's already a favorite in my family. or make a soup with yellow split-peas or cook some edamame beans, (soy beans, they can be bought frozen in the chinese supermarket) for 5 minutes in boiling water, sprinkle with coarse salt and peel the small beans out of their velvety pods with your hands and eat them immediately. images: mikkel vang
