this morning i looked in the latest german AD and the first thing i saw was the colour green. it pops up everywhere; in interiors in food. so today i am into green!

an exhibition of nearly 1000 artworks by 50 different artists. people who are not trained as an artist, but make extraordinary work. most of them have a psychiatric disorder or a mental handicap. some of these artists exhibited their work before, in paris, around 25 artists will exhibit for the first time in europe. 'outsider art from japan' is a taboo-breaking exhibition, people with mental illness are often kept outside society in Japan.
marni designed a collection of chairs for this week's salone del mobile in milan. they hired a group of former colombian prisoners to produce them with the aim to help them to readjust to society.(source: www.marni.com)

'the milan review of the univers', check out this book! It is printed in italy, in english, by the 'milan review', an independent publishing house in italy. it includes short stories and hand-made artworks such as paintings, drawings, collages. no photographs, or at least not yet they say on their website.
